Friends I thank God For the friends I know And each one for the special way His love does show They brighten my day With a word or a smile Some are forever Others a short while Let me learn to be A better friend Sharing of His love That is ever without end like flowers that grow So our friendship does I know In the garden of my life Among the thorns and weeds Friends are the brightest flowers Grown from tiny seeds
